The Festival Of Water takes place the 2nd weekend in July.

* The Water Festival celebrates womanhood, femininity, birth and creation.
* Festival activities include, song, dance, artwork, crafts and workshops on dealing with emotions, pregnancy and giving birth. It's a celebration of the Mother and all of her attributes.
* During the Water Festival newborns are introduced to the community.
* Single dances take place so singles can hopefully meet a mating partner.

Festival Of Fire

The Festival Of Fire takes place the 2nd weekend in October.

* The Fire Festival celebrates community. Communities come together to put out fires, to control fires, to be warm around the fire. So we come together as a community to celebrate the positive energy of fire.
* The Fire Festival is a storytelling festival. Great tellers are invited to tell stories around the fire.
* The festival celebrates life, renewal and change.

Festival Of Earth

* The festival celebrates death, stagnation, and the natural cycle of life.
* The festival includes song and dance, music and art.

* The festivals includes songs, music, art and dance.

Fire Element

Fire cleanses rapidly and the cleansing is painful.
Fire is the only element that turns one element into another. Water boils because of fire and turns into gas (air), fire burns wood into ash (earth). Fire is a transformer.

Fire is the one element we can create ourselves. We can control fire. We can use it for both positive and destructive means.

Fire is the element of sexuality. It is passion, sex and lust.
Fire is the element of rebirth. All is burned away but new growth occurs soon after.

Fire is masculine energy.

The colours of fire are yellow, orange, red and blue.

Earth is known as the water planet because of the abundance of water that can be found here. Water is the source of all life. Out of all the elements it is the most important. In the beginning, there was air, there was earth and there was fire. It was not until there was water that life started on this planet.

Water is unique and irreplaceable. It cannot be created. It cannot be duplicated. Water is life, birth and fertility. Water is free and flexible, the slightest breeze sends ripples across it's surface. It takes the easiest path to wherever it's going. Water is powerful. It can knock down anything in its path.

Water is movement, change and freedom.
Water is cleansing. It washes away dirt, grime.

Water is feminine energy. It represents woman, birth and fertility.
Water represents free expression of emotions.
The colours of water are blue and green.

Air Element
