1. No Sommerian shall steal another person's possessions.

2. No Sommerian shall tell a lie just for the sake of lying.

3. No Sommerian shall harm another living thing for fun or profit. You may kill an animal for food for you and your family if the need calls for it, but no Sommerian shall kill, maim, or harm another living thing to make a profit or just for the fun of killing it.

4. No Sommerian shall bear false witness.

5. No Sommerian shall stir up strife.

6. No Sommerian shall knowingly cause harm to the Earth.

7. No Sommerian shall knowingly contaminate water.

8. No Sommerian shall consume alcoholic beverages. No Sommerian shall buy or sell alcoholic beverages. No Sommerian shall make a living from the sale or consumption of alcoholic beverages. No Sommerian shall serve their guests who consume alcohol alcoholic beverages or obtain it for them.

9. No Sommerian shall smoke tobacco. No Sommerian shall buy or sell tobacco products. No Sommerian shall make a living from the sale of tobacco products. No Sommerian shall serve tobacco products to their guests who smoke or obtain tobacco products for them.

10. No Sommerian shall take drugs in any form. No Sommerian shall buy or sell products containing illegal drugs. No Sommerian shall make a living from the sale of illegal drugs. No Sommerian shall serve illegal drugs to their guests who take drugs or obtain drugs for them.

11. All Sommerians must live a life of simplicity. This does not mean you must live a life of poverty. It simply means that you must not become materialistic. Keep your life as simple as possible.

17. No Sommerian shall prevent another person from obtaining their basic needs. Every person should have food, clothing and shelter. It is up to each community to provide these things for its citizens or to teach the skills needed to obtain them.

18. Do not say, do, create or condone anything that breeds fear, hate, punishment, separation or destruction.

19. No Sommerian may join the army, navy or air force. It goes against our policy of non-violence. You may not join anything that promotes the killing or injury of others.

20. Although, we believe in non-violence Sommerians have a right to protect themselves from physical harm. Do not strike the first blow. Subdue your opponent and walk away at the first opportunity. Every effort must be made to end a disagreement by peaceful, non-violent means.

21. Do not force your religious beliefs on others. You may tell others about your religion if asked, you may display pamphlets and distribute flyers but you may not try to convince them to join. Everyone is entitled to their beliefs, even if you think those beliefs are wrong.
